Benefits of Lemon Water in the Morning

Every morning I wake up and drink warm lemon water, before I eat or drink anything else.  Why should you try this?  Take a look - you won't believe how many benefits there are!

Overall, this little yellow fruit packs A LOT of nutritional punch.  It is rich in antioxidants that will neutralize free radicals from oxidizing cells and it stimulates our digestive system to flush out toxins from the body.  The nutrients in lemons include vitamin C, B-complex vitamins, calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium and fiber.  (Fun fact: lemons contain more potassium than apples or grapes!)
